Hi, CHILDREN!
Today is a day to think about your RIGHTS and your DUTIES.
This morning, we were talking about this. Do you remember?
We are very LUCKY:
We have a family. We have friends. We have a house. When we are sick, we can go to the doctor.
So, we are THANKFUL for these good things!
But, SADLY, many children in the WORLD haven't got a family or friends. They haven't got a house or enough food to grow HEALTHY and STRONG. They can't go to school and learn how to read or write.
Have they got the basic RIGHTS? Why not?
What can we do to help them?

WORLD HEALTHY DAY 7 APRIL
World Health Day 2012
The World Health Organization (WHO), established on 7 April 1948, is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is concerned with international public health.
The First World Health Assembly called for the creation of a
World Health Day to mark the founding of WHO and to improve health and well-being all around the world.
Since 1950, World Health
Day has been celebrated on 7 April, with a different theme every year.
The topic of World Health Day in 2012 is Ageing and health: "Good health adds life to years."
So, let's think ...
Do we follow a healthy diet?
Do we do exercice regularly?
Do we have enough sleep a day?
